Ambling around last evening, my wife and I were amazed to notice a few leaves on a neighborhood maple tree exhibit the brilliant hues of fall foliage. While premature and not expected to last beyond the next few days, the sharp dip in the temperature allowed us to turn off the air-conditioning, open the windows and enjoy the cool, fresh morning breeze – “Baad-e-sabaah” (zephyr). It also served to remind us that summer would soon make way for the fall.
So, this week I have decided to follow my own advice and take a break from all my “normal activities”. The idea is to do nothing, or anything that I wish to, on the spur of the moment and enjoy the last few days of a fast fading summertime.
This week’s blog is therefore a reminder to take pause and just “chill” while and when one can.
Take. Time. Out. For. Yourself.
Sounds like a perfect idea! We’re going to let this morning’s urge for spontaneity take us on a little road trip adventure through Southwestern Ontario. Enjoy your weekend Pankaj!
